Dr. Irabu is a shrink who applies idiosyncratic treatments to cure his patients of extreme neuroses and physical discomforts, such as up and coming star ODAGIRI Joe, who desperately hides an inconveniently enlarged body part. A comical exercise along various magnified stress factors makes In The Pool pleasantly familiar and stimulates contagious laughter - viewers diagnosed after the film have predominantly displayed increased powers of relief from negative stress.
